Jill wants to determine whether choice of statistics text books affects the ability to do statistics as measured by scores on a standardized statistical test.

There are many text books are available. As a sample, she uses “Biostatistical analysis” by Zar in one class, and “Biometry” by Sokal and Rohlf in another class.

In each class, there are 30 students. She repeats the study at 3 Universities as her test cases.

Based on the results, she calculates the following sum of squares (SStotal=218.45, SScells=64.11, SSschool=50.45, SSbook=10.32, SSinteraction=3.34, SSerror=154.34).

What statistical test should Jill use?
Is the choice of statistical text books important?
